Fireside dinner menu # 10

This week’s menu has a lot of braai time. Our potjie did his bit and we even had burgers. We tried fancy fish in foil and then there was the perfect curry. Looking back I see the value in the time we spend together without having to rush off somewhere.

The “boontjiesop” was also made on the fire. Now, you will note that I refer to the Afrikaans, because the English translation just does not sound like it should. The recipe is from the WegTydskrif, but I could not find it online. I promise to write it up this week and share it here.
