This week… has kicked my ass… and it is now only Wednesday. So better late than never! The recipes for this week are all very uncomplicated. I have to smile at all the carbs again but hey, they are my friends.

I have never in my life felt important enough to review anything. But today I am thrilled, and I want to share it because I know that some of the followers of these rambles are also stationery addicts. I bought this gorgeous traveller’s notebook a few months back (ah, I guess that was actually the first review). What has, however, been a bit of a challenge was to find the perfect notebook inserts.
I gave you the halfway update on my Inktober efforts and now we are almost halfway through November and I never concluded that post! Starting off I was diligently drawing a little every day, life however interfered and I realised that for the second half of the month that was not really realistic. I wanted to unwind, not be stressed out about deadlines – I have enough of that in my day job.
I, therefore, combined a few of the prompts into single drawings.
I loved Inktober. I loved it so much that I have been continuing my drawing, although not daily. I bought myself some water colour paint to see if I can combine some mediums. All in all I found an artistic side of myself that I did not know. I also loved how accomplished completing something small can make you feel.
Another lesson is that the creativity of others can be truly inspiring. Not even to compare but to incorporate, to learn and to grow.
These little zendoodles are definitely something that I will continue, after all, I have a whole sketchbook to fill.
– How I deal with not being a morning person in a world where you have to be up
Today is the 2nd of November, and I have a crazy October behind me. This time of year is especially hectic at work and this year even more so due to a lot of extra publications that we did not plan for. I am however grateful for a fantastic team who runs with it.
The Lilliputians have also demanded more of my attention at home, simply because they now get bored and have become expert little manipulators with the ability to get everything they want. I adore them but have to admit that by 7 am I have easily lost about nine arguments with tiny little versions of myself.
